3. How We Store Your Data

Your memories are stored securely using Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the Asia Pacific (Sydney) region. We use secure storage and encrypted connections to help protect your information. Access to your memories is controlled through your account, trusted person invitations, or the sharing links you choose to create.

4. Trusted People

When you add a trusted person, they receive an invitation by email or text message. After access is approved, they can view your memories through their private portal. You can remove a trusted person at any time. Cancelling an invitation stops that invite, and removing a trusted person removes their access until you send a new invitation.

5. Sharing Memories

When you share a memory, a unique public link is generated. Anyone with this link can view that specific memory. You can turn public links off from the app.

6. Content Safety

Sexual, exploitative, abusive or illegal content involving children is not allowed on This Means To Me. People can report safety concerns from shared pages, trusted person portals, the app, or by emailing safety@thismeanstome.com.

We review safety reports and may restrict access while we investigate. We may preserve relevant information and share it with authorities where required by law or needed to protect safety.
